"As a Certified Hand Therapist, I know how limiting wrist pain or wrist motion limitation can be when attempting to perform weight bearing activities such as yoga. I have come up with numerous work- around recommendations over the years for my patients to allow them to continue to perform yoga in spite of these limitations. I now have similar wrist pain so I asked my husband, who has a small medical manufacturing company in Denver, to bring home some of his non-slip egg shaped gel pads for my yoga exercise. I put them on the floor (think of them as small exercise mats for your hands) and was able to position my hands and angle my wrists to perform these weight bearing motions and postures painfree. They worked like a gem."
